12 May Why Facial Massage Will Change Your Life
There is nothing like a full body massage when your body is feeling tired and sore. But the facial massage is under rated–there is NO doubt!
And when you add some stimulation of facial acupressure points into that facial massage, amazing results can happen for a host of conditions & ailments. I have clients who are avid facial massage customers because of the improvement in the look & feel of their skin, the reduced under eye circles and sinus pressure from their allergies, and the incredible, almost decadent, relaxation during the service. The increased circulation is so dramatic, that typically, the client on the table can feel it happening. I have clients who have literally stopped taking their Allergy medications, since having the Facial Massage 1-2 times a month. Their allergy symptoms have almost completely vanished.
So, if headaches are an issue the facial massage can also alleviate those. Typically some scalp massage is included in the 30, 45 or 60 minute session. The scalp portion also has great benefits in relieving tension felt throughout the head.
People forget how many muscles we have strapped around our skull, providing the movement of our eyes, jaw, and facial expressions. The same benefits our body muscles experience from a well deserved massage, our facial muscles experience when some consolidated time is spent working on those muscles of the face & scalp.
This month, I’m sharing the use of acupressure points of the face after the session, for self care, and follow up–continued benefits. Schedule your 45 minute or 60 minute session, and before you leave we will review the points that you, yourself can use in the mirror in the morning and before bed, while washing your face, or putting on your facial lotion. Simple steps, just 5 minutes here & there, and see some fantastic results!!
My clients who have a regular monthly 60 minute facial massage, and use these natural methods on their own between appointments are seeing years drop off their face.
